Main Street Adds Flowers to Beautify Downtown Main Street Hagerstown's Clean Safe and Green work group continue to beautify the downtown. On September 29, Main Street volunteers and city staff planted over 80 winter-hardy plants in the planter pots along East Franklin Street. The plants included decorative cabbage and kale, a variety of colorful mums, and several pansies. The group also picked up litter along the street after they finished planting. May 25 Mainstreet volunteers gathered at the Gourmet Goat on 41 North Potomac Street to celebrate all that Main Street Hagerstown has accomplished over the last year and to recognize the volunteers who made it possible.
