On Friday, July 4, the City of Hagerstown’s Parks & Recreation Division will set the stage for yet another dazzling pyrotechnic spectacle, as the annual fireworks display celebrates Independence Day with a barrage of brilliant colors bursting in air above the city. The 2025 Fireworks at Fairgrounds Park event is produced by Starfire Corporation.
Beginning at approximately 9:30pm, event-goers can enjoy the fireworks illuminating the sky over Fairgrounds Park while relaxing on a blanket or lawn chair. The fireworks are also visible from many areas throughout the city for those not able to be onsite.
Please note, no food or drink vendors will be at this year’s event. While attendees are encouraged to bring their own food and refreshments, everyone is reminded that no alcohol, tobacco products, or personal fireworks are permitted at in any city park at any time. Visitors to Fairgrounds Park should note that in preparation for the event, some areas of the park normally open to them will be limited or inaccessible on Monday and Tuesday.
