Clean Hands is the inspirational true story of Hagerstown’s own Kevin Simmers and the events that led to the creation of Brooke’s House.

A film about Hagerstown, and made by the community, this star-studded premiere night honors an unbelievable story of love, tragedy, and real-life miracles.

Kevin Simmers (Zach Braff) is a cop who spent his career trying to keep drugs out of Hagerstown. But when his 19-year-old daughter Brooke (Ester McGregor) got hooked, everything he thought he knew got turned inside out. What follows is a father and daughter fighting their way back to each other, and a community reckoning with an epidemic it can’t arrest its way out of.

A movie with real-life purpose, one-third of all film profits go to supporting the Brooke’s House non-profit and raising recovery awareness. Tickets can be purchased at mdtheatre.org or skip the online fees and call the local Box Office at 301-790-2000.
