Main Event Grant

The Main Event Grant empowers brick and mortar, downtown businesses to create events that spark energy and connection in Downtown Hagerstown.

Local businesses can apply for up to $1,000 per event/series (with funding available for up to five events each calendar year) to help cover eligible costs such as entertainment, marketing, supplies, and event staffing.

This is a reimbursement-based grant designed to encourage community-building activities hosted at local business locations. Applications and awards are reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis until funds are exhausted.

The program celebrates creativity and collaboration—supporting the events that make downtown vibrant, welcoming, and alive with activity.
