Our MDWK Music & Market Summer series is back and is bringing you local, artisan vendors, great food, and live music from the Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band!
Stoney Creek Bluegrass Band is an American roots band formed in West Virgina, with an authentic mountain sound that ahs earned them a reputation as “mainstream bluegrass at its best” (Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine). Led by vocalist Libby Files, Stoney Creek pays homage to a simpler time where front picking and gospel-tinged harmonies were the heart of rural community gatherings. Their repertoire includes both original compositions and classic bluegrass favorites, delivering a diverse range of songs that evoke the spirit of the Appalachian Mountains.
